Definitely true for me. And still, the realization is better late in life, than not at all. Happy Sunday!!

Lilly is my greatest joy, hands down. Our daily activities, include 3 to 4 walks, sweet cuddles on the couch, grooming [she’s getting used to it slowly], as well as hide and seek or gleefully chasing after her toys being thrown across the room. Lilly’s charm and liveliness add pleasure and humor to the much disliked, but necessary “hamster wheel”. Ever since she made her way into my heart and home on June 12th of this year, there’s been a great improvement in my mood, and I am thankful beyond words for having this sweet. little whirlwind in my life.
I got into the [bad?] habit of introducing myself to others by naming a few of my negative traits to let them know, what to expect. Most often the response I get is either “come on, you exaggerate a bit” or “don’t cut yourself down like that, surely it’s not so bad”. Oh? You know better, do you? Okay, good! Then you “receive” what you deserve – live and in colour – while getting to know me and everything, I tried to warn you about. [Later on they complain, that dealing with me is exhausting and complicated]. Well, sometimes it pays off to listen, don’t you think?

Yes, absolutely. Happy Sunday!!
๐ณ๐ฟ I would be thrilled beyond words about two free plane tickets to New Zealand. ๐ณ๐ฟ
For tonight’s musical snack, I’m sharing my favorite song by Miranda Lambert. I absolutely luv, luv, luv this song – and video – for more than just one reason. I hope, you will enjoy it as well…
Miranda Lambert is one of my true favorite country singers. Not only does she have a lovely voice and writes beautiful songs that resonate with me, she also loves animals and founded her own none profit organization, called MuttNation to help promote and educate people about shelter animals. What’s not to love?? Have a good night ๐โจ
Just a little something to smile about….

Did this devilish tomato make you smile? Have a very good evening, and just maybe I’ll see you back here for a musical snack at midnight?
Give me a project or task to be done, and I will select the music. My song choices also depend upon the mood I am in at the time. Generally speaking, if I do housework like cleaning, cooking, organizing, ironing clothes, etc. or I’m in the basement to work on a craft project, I’ll listen to everything from country music and smooth jazz to EDM and classic rock.
To be honest, I only get specific about what I’m listening to when I have to concentrate on the task at hand. That’s the case, for example, when I write a statement or letter and have to mind my word choices, but also to make sure that the finished document is well structured and easily understandable for a stranger. Then I usually choose instrumental EDM, because the lyrics to a song are too much of a distraction and my focus shifts towards fighting the urge to sing along.
Most important, no matter what the task may be, is that the songs are perky to keep my energy levels high and help me get the job done.

The challenge is to silence the mind.”

Bullseye truth for me. How about you? Have a lovely Sunday!
I think we’ve had this question a time or twenty. And my answer is still Sims 4.
It is the only game (PC) that I play, although playing isn’t really the proper word to be used. Because I don’t play any of the suggested scenarios, or come up with my own stories. In other words, the game play doesn’t interest me. What I enjoy about the Sims 4 is, that you can build homes and design yards and gardens for your sims to live in. You can also (re-) build the entire worlds, if you so choose to, including public buildings like a library, a restaurant, a school, etc. Below, I will share a few pictures of the house I am currently building. It is only a shell (meaning, that it doesn’t have a floorplan or furnishings yet). The garden is not done either, because it would still take at least a couple of hours to finish it all. My houses are pretty basic in comparison to other Sims 4 player’s builds, their work is amazing! But true is also, that it doesn’t really matter, as long as I have fun. And that’s the case for sure.

Before you judge me harshly, please keep in mind that the details and finishing touches make a world of difference. This is an UN-finished shell only. Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely weekend!!
